The Gold Coast Community

The Gold Coast Community has high expectations that the local liquor industry will provide a first class entertainment, bar and beverage service with a best practice approach to patron and community safety. There are some 800 licensed premises throughout the Gold Coast region servicing both the local and tourism sectors and therefore it is vital for the liquor industry to commit to the highest standards.

LICA Will Do This By:

Providing a consultative forum for existing peak industry bodies and independent licensees in conjunction with regulatory agencies and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with legislation.

Representing the broad range of interests of licensee's in the region to government during a time especially of significant focus upon the liquor industry.

Identifying and implementing opportunities for best practices in the industry.

Developing and coordinating the Gold Coast LICA Accord.
